Altar coffer from Beijing. Made of warm dark golden Elm, hardwood from China. All joints are mortise and tenon, and the only nails you will find are to fasten the brasses. Lovely old handmade piece restored in the original manner it was made. The center stile is removable to allow for larger storage access.
