Pair of Rectangle bench

This pair of authentic Antique Chinese Ming Bench is crafted in Ming “Double-Waist” furniture style. The top of the bench is crafted with narrow “waist” style with carving line around all sides of the table. The second “waist” just below the bench top is made from separate piece of wood and carved in a “narrower waist” connecting the top and the body of the bench in a very unique way. The traditional “horse-hoof” legs and straight lines of these benches show the elegance of Ming furniture. The detailed handworks show great workmanship in making this pair of the benches. The benches are handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and tenon structure, which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Made from Poplar wood, the benches are very solid and have been kept in excellent condition. Can be used as side tables, end table or Sofa tables. Original patina and wear.
